“The LORD their God will save his people on that day as a shepherd saves his flock. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.”
Jewel (Born in 2008) arrived at Wings of Hope Ranch in November 2011, previously named Ariel. She had previously been in foster care for about a year because her owners mistreated her and 32 other horses, leaving them for dead without food or water, and providing them with no medical care for a LONG time. One of Jewel’s friends didn’t make it, which made Jewel really sad. In fact, Jewel was the worst of the bunch to survive.
Even though her foster family had nursed Jewel back to health, a house just isn’t a home unless there is shared love. At Wings of Hope Ranch, Jewel enjoys being around other horses and people, but she has PURPOSE in her job of making children happy.
