Paxton is the third male to join our ranks alongside Cody and Samson. He was rescued from a kill-pen by the Powhatan Equine Rescue League with the aid of a donor who helped to pay his bail. At the time, he was very sick and was nursed back to health through most of 2018.

He is now happy and healthy and thriving in his new role at Wings of Hope! He is a sweet boy who does wonderful with the ranchers both in the riding ring and on our wooded trail. Paxton is a beautiful red Quarter Horse with a sorrel mane and a white star and snip markings on his face.

His name means “peace town,” so his Bible verse is Philippians 4:7, which says: “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
