Julia Schlosser Clark

Executive Director

Julia Schlosser Clark serves as the Executive Director of Wings of Hope Ranch. In her role, she has the privilege of combining her passion for children’s ministry, horses, and her professional experience in nonprofit management. She has volunteered at the Ranch since 2016 as a session volunteer, session supervisor, grant writer, and a member of the Forever Home Committee. In 2021 she felt God calling her to serve in a more formal role at the Ranch.

Julia is a native of New Kent and a lifelong horsewoman. In her youth, she rode hunter/ jumpers and trail rode. As a teenager, she read the book Hope Rising by Kim Meeder and felt a God-nudge to turn her passion for horses into an avenue to share God’s love with others. She began volunteering at several therapeutic riding programs in Virginia and continued riding at Houghton College in New York, where she earned a degree in business.

Julia has spent her professional career within the non-profit sector, most recently serving as Executive Director for a non-governmental organization (NGO) providing technical assistance services, including business planning and federal grant writing, to farmers and cooperatives across Virginia.
