A Dream Turned Reality
In 2018, God gave the ministry's board of directors a vision for a forever home ranch — a permanent home for the ministry that would reach more children than ever before.
In March of 2020, God opened the door for the ministry to qualify for a land loan and purchase 50 acres in Western Hanover!
Then, He raised up a team of supporters, donors and volunteer leaders who helped develop the property to include a 14-stall barn, covered arena, programming space and pastures. This incredible group of individuals made it possible to complete the building of the forever home without incurring additional debt.
Together with leadership and volunteers the ministry moved the fall of 2022 and Wings of Hope hosted the first session the spring of 2023. The team remained focused on creating new ways to reach more children and hosted the first summer sessions in 2023.
As we settle into our permanent home and continue to develop ways to serve the growing number of children who apply to participate in equine programs, we have a goal to reduce the Ranch's overhead expenses and pay off our land mortgage debt (originally July 2037 payoff date). Thanks to donors passionate about debt retirement the new payoff date is June 2033!

Debt Reduction
Our leadership team is excited to focus on making additional quarterly payments to pay off the mortgage quicker and lower the operating budgeting while saving on interest. The first additional payment of $17,649 was made in the 1st quarter of 2025. This additional payment moved up the final mortgage payment date to October 2033 taking nearly 4 years off our payment schedule! An additional payment of $10,800 made in the 3rd quarter of 2025 has brought the new pay off date to June 2033! Our team is thankful to donors who are investing in the debt reduction and we're excited to see years being shaved off the payoff date.
