Josh Holder

Treasurer

Josh serves as Commercial Relationship Manager with SouthState Bank. Josh has served the banking industry for the entirety of his 15 year career, working in both the Retail and Commercial areas of the bank. Beginning with a local community bank after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Longwood University, building relationships has been paramount throughout his career. He recognizes the trust that business executives place in their banker, not just for products and services, but for advice and feedback as well. As a result, he has pursued continuing education through the Virginia Banker’s Association’s School of Bank Management where he is a 2018 graduate, as well as completing their Executive Leadership Institute program in May 2023. Josh also serves on the steering committee for the VBA’s Emerging Bank Leaders group.

Josh is an active member in the community, having served on the Board of Directors for the Hanover Chamber of Commerce as well as the Hanover Industrial Airpark Business Association (HIAPBA). He also is very involved in his local church, Beaverdam Baptist, serving as Director of Discipleship and Sunday School Director. Josh was instrumental in helping the ranch purchase its forever home property in early 2020.

He is married to his wife Sara, and they have three children- Elizabeth, Jackson, and Harden- and live in Western Hanover where they moonlight as cattle farmers, having started a small herd of AHA Registered Hereford cattle.
