Paxton

Quarter Horse

15.3 hands

Paxton is a red Quarter Horse with a sorrel mane and a white star and snip markings on his face. Paxton was rescued from a kill-pen by the Powhatan Equine Rescue League with the aid of a donor who helped to pay his bail. At the time, he was very sick and was nursed back to health through most of 2018.

He is now happy and healthy in his role as a Ministry Horse at the Ranch. He can be ridden under saddle or lead as part of sessions

His name means “peace town,” so his Bible verse is Philippians 4:7, which says: “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
