Praising God for a fruitful and fun-filled spring 2022 season!
The Spring Season wrapped up on a sweltering May Sunday with a picnic at the Ranch. Each session presented their Ranchers with superlatives that focused on personal accomplishments, fun traits and special moments spent together.
This spring 52 Ranchers participated thanks to 77 volunteers who served in various roles. 335 hours of programming was provided, all at no cost to families!
The superlatives were followed by a service with Cowboy Church Pastor Gerald and concluded with 9 Ranchers and adults being baptized. Baptisms in a horse trough on a Ranch are definitely memorable for the new believers and friends.
And no southern gathering is complete without wonderful food. We are thankful to Performance Food Group for donating 120 pounds of bbq and Wawa for providing the bottled water. Volunteers also generously provided sides and all the extras needed to enjoy a wonderful evening of fellowship.
Over the six-week session it was pretty amazing to see the new friendships developed among the Ranchers, volunteers and families. We are grateful to the volunteers and donors who provide funding so Ranchers can participate and enjoy the benefits of relationship with their mentors and the faithful herd.
We are looking forward to hosting the fall season in September.
