Wings of Hope Ranch is considered a "similar ministry" to Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Bend, Oregon. Crystal Peaks has been a tremendous blessing to Wings of Hope as we created our ministry here in Hanover, Virginia and continues to provide support by participating in our annual East Coast Ministry Clinic and hosting sessions for our leadership team to attend.
Since founder of Crystal Peaks, Kim Meador, published her book, Hope Rising, over 200 similar ministries have been started across the globe! If you visit Crystal Peaks' similar ministries page, you can find a Ranch that is providing hope and healing in an area near you.
Wings of Hope serves youth ages 5 - 18 who are facing a challenge. Other similar ministries in our area have felt a calling on their heart to serve a different group ranging from veterans, addiction recovery or adults.
While we wish we could serve EVERY age and need we know that to serve best we need to focus on what God has called us to do. And staying focused on our mission of serving youth who are facing a challenge also allows us to properly train volunteers for the youth they will work with.
